- Dr Jude Coleman – Female
MB, ChB, DCH, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP, (GMC: 4034092) DTM&H. Qualified 1993 Liverpool.
Jude was a trainee at Tilehurst Surgery in 1996 before moving to Italy where she worked as a GP in Milan. She re-joined the Practice as a partner in 2000.
Special interests in child health, women’s health including coil and implant fitting and minor surgery. She also looks after a large nursing home in Reading.
- Dr Lada Jamnicky – Female
MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCPCH, MRCGP, DFFP, (GMC: 4443289) Qualified 1997 Edinburgh.
Lada initially embarked on a career in Paediatrics before seeing the light and switching to General Practice.
She joined Tilehurst Surgery in 2004 as a trainee under Dr Boulos and became a Partner in 2006. Lada became an approved trainer for the Oxford Deanery and welcomed her first GP trainee in 2016.
In addition to medical education, Lada’s interests are child and women’s health including coil and implant fitting.
- Dr Doon Lovett – Female
BSc, MBBS, DRCOG, MA TexCon, MRCGP (GMC: 2924083), Qualified 1984 St Thomas’s Hospital, London.
After initial thoughts of following a career in palliative care, Doon qualified as a GP in 1990, working in Chichester and Haslemere.
A break from working as a GP to bring up her family allowed her to retrain as a textile conservator in 2001.
She returned to General Practice, joining Tilehurst Surgery in 2007 and became a Partner in 2015. Her medical interests are rheumatology, family planning, depression & palliative care. Doon has been instrumental in identifying and supporting carers, sits on the PPG & is passionate about ‘old fashioned holistic’ GP care.
In addition she works as an appraiser, conducting GPs’ annual appraisal which is designed both for revalidation & relicensing as well as aiding professional development
- Dr Elena Griffin – Female
MBBS, BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP, (GMC: 4643278), Qualified 1999 University College London. GP training in Reading and Crawley.
Elena joined Tilehurst Surgery in June 2005 and became a Partner in 2017.
Her special interests include Long Term Conditions and the mentoring of the Nursing team and Pharmacist.
Elena is interested in all aspects of family medicine.
- Dr Nicola Hunt – Female
MB ChB 2000, MRCGP, DFFP, PG DipTher, (GMC 4704535) Qualified 2000 Glasgow University.
Special interest in Diabetes.
Nicola spent 5 years working in hospitals before doing her GP registrar training in Knutsford. She has worked in Australia, England and Scotland and moved to Reading in 2012. She has done a postgraduate diploma in Therapeutics and has a special interest in diabetes.
Nicola joined Tilehurst Surgery in 2015 and oversees the treatment of Diabetic patients at the Surgery.
- Dr Selina Soukup – Female
MBBS, BSc (Hons), MRCGP (GMC: 7134511) Qualified 2011 St George’s University of London
GP training with the Oxford Deanery.
Selina joined Tilehurst Surgery in September 2018 and became a partner in April 2019. She has a special interest in Cancer Care, specifically new cancer diagnosis and referral pathways. She works closely with local Cancer Research UK teams to look at practice training and development in this area. Selina is also developing her specialist interest in musculoskeletal medicine. She is the clinical lead for the paramedic and pharmacist teams at the practice and enjoys teaching and training as part of this role.
- Dr Charlotte Tyler – Female
BMBS, BMedSci (Hons), MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DFFP, (GMC: 4667283)
Qualified 1999 Nottingham University and did her GP training with the Oxford Deanery.
Charlotte joined Tilehurst Surgery after completing GP training in 2005 and now works as Salaried GP.
Her special interests include family planning and acupuncture and she is also currently involved in teaching Oxford medical students.
- Dr Jacqui Mayer – Female
BA Cantab 1998, MB BS, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH, (GMC: 6029021) Qualified 2001 Imperial College, London
Jacqui spent time working in a remote community in Tanzania, held junior doctor positions at a number of hospitals in London and the South East, and spent a year working in Sydney, Australia.
Her rotation included posts in general medicine and surgery, dermatology, palliative care, cardiology, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology.
Jacqui joined Tilehurst Surgery in 2013 and her special interests include child health, women’s health and the care of patients with learning disabilities.
- Dr Alastair Petter – Male
MBBS 2001, MRCGP, (GMC 6042306) Qualified Imperial College, London 2001.
Following qualification, Alastair spent his first 4 years in General Medicine before moving into anaesthetics/ intensive care medicine for 8 years. Alastair has now moved specialities to settle in General Practice.
He joined Tilehurst Surgery in 2016 and has a special interest in paediatrics and geriatrics.
- Dr Kimberly Ashton – Female
BA (Oxon 2005), MBBS (London 2008), MRCP (UK 2010), MSc in Public Health (LSHTM 2013), MRCGP (2019), Qualified 2008 University College London.
Kimberly joined Tilehurst in June 2020, a year after completing GP training in Cheltenham. Prior to this, she worked in a variety of hospital posts, as well as a brief stint in medical publishing. Her interests are in elderly medicine, minor surgery, and mental health. She is also currently undertaking a Masters in medical ethics and law.
- Dr Juliet Zani – Female
MBBS, MRCGP (GMC 7455792) BA (Oxon 2011), MBBS (2014), MRCP (UK 2019), MRCGP (2020), qualified 2014 Imperial College London.
Juliet has spent time at the practice in the past as part of her GP training, and enjoyed it so much she decided to come back after she qualified. She has had multiple hospital and community posts, enjoying particularly her time in palliative care. She enjoys all areas of family medicine and general practice.
